MavPRINT Two-Sided Printing

Question

How can I print single-sided pages or two-sided printing on MavPRINT?

Overview

MavPRINT will print on both sides of a sheet of paper by default. This is called two-side (duplex) printing.

The instructions below guide you through printing on a single side of the paper, or how to select both sides if your print is only on one side.

The instructions below are different depending on if you are using a University lab computer to print to MavPRINT (File - Print) or uploading a file to print using MavPRINT Mobile

I. Print on One Side (single-sided printing) or Both Sides of the paper (double-sided printing) using MavPRINT Mobile

  1. Upload the file or document to print using MavPRINT Mobile (Print from your Web Browser)
  2. Within MavPRINT Mobile, check the check box next to the document or file you want to print.
  3. Under Print Options: Sides: select Double Sided or Single Sided

TIP: to reduce the amount of paper used, you can also select multiple pages to print per side of the paper. Change Pages per side: to 2 or more!

II. Print on One Side (single-sided) or Both Sides of the paper (double-sided printing) using a University computer (File - Print)

  1. From the Microsoft Office app: Click on File in the menu bar.
  2. Click on Print.
  3. Click Under settings select Print on Both Sides (two-sided)

  1. Most other applications: Click on Printer Properties

     5. Click on the Printing Shortcuts tab

     6. Select Yes, flip over under Print on both sides

NOTE: Notice how the icon changes in the upper right corner

7. Select One-sided

8. Select Two-Sided

                       9. Click on OK

                      10. Click Print

Note: When you change to two-sided printing, it will remain for the duration you are logged into the University lab computer.
