How-To

University faculty and staff can request access to classrooms by following the instructions below. Access will be applied automatically to the individual's MavCard.

  1. Submit a ticket to the IT Solutions Center.
  2. Include the room or rooms you need access to.
  3. Include the name and TechID of the person requiring access.
  4. Verify that the person needing the request has a physical MavCard that is current. Card access cannot be enabled for a person without a physical current (not expired) MavCard, even if they have a TechID.
  5. Include the duration of access (24/7 or Monday–Friday from 7:00am–10:30pm).
  6. Include the length of access (for example, Spring Semester).

Note: If you are requesting access for multiple individuals please attach a spreadsheet that includes the names, TechIDs, and rooms needed.
