Power BI: Access in the Cloud

Question

How do I access to Power BI in the cloud? 

Overview

  1. In a web browser, navigate to MavMAIL
  2. Login using your StarID and password.

Students, Alumni and Emeriti: receive a license by special request.

Faculty and Staff: YourStarID@minnstate.edu     

  1. Your screen will refresh to show your email. In the top left corner of the screen, click the 3X3 matrix of white squares.
  2. The Office365 applications menu will appear. Select the Power BI option in the bottom right corner.
    NOTE: If you do not see this option, please contact the IT Solutions Center, itsolutionscenter@mnsu.edu or 507-389-6654 to request access.
  3. The Power BI screen will load.

You are now logged in and ready to begin working with Power BI.
