D2L Brightspace: Update Email Signature

Question

I get an error message when trying to update my email signature. How do I change the email signature that is sent out in D2L Brightspace?

Overview

There is a known issue that causes an error message when updating the email signature in D2L Brightspace. Use these steps to workaround this issue:

  1. Navigate to any course offering.
  2. Click the Communication menu.
  3. Click Email from the drop down menu.
  4. Click the Sent Mail button.
  5. Click the Settings icon in the top right corner.
  6. Edit your email signature in D2L Brightspace.
  7. Click the Save button. Your email signature will now be updated.
