Turnitin: How to submit and view a Turnitin Similarity Report in D2L Brightspace Assignments (Students)

How do I submit and view my Turnitin Similarity Report in D2L Brightspace Assignments (Students).

Overview

NOTE: Your instructor has to enable Students to view the report in order for you to see it.

Step 1. Submit the file.

1. Navigate to your course, click on the Assessment menu, click Assignments.
2. Click the title of the Assignment you wish to submit to.
3. Click the Add a File button
4. Browse for the File using My Computer or other location.
5. Follow the Upload prompts
6. You will see a submission confirmation page called Review Assignment Submission.
7. Click the Done button.

Step 2. Review Turnitin Similarity Report

1. Locate the Assignment submission folder
2. Click the Submission link in the Completion Status column, example: “1 Submission, 1 File”

3. You will see your Originality Check in the Turnitin Similarity column.
4. Click the Turnitin Similarity bar graph icon to view details of the Similarity Report.

5. You will see details of the Turnitin similarity report open in a new tab or window.
