REACH: Digital Display Signage System Overview

REACH is a digital display software used to manage and display content on campus digital signage systems. This system replaced Carousel in Fall 2024.

Accessing the System

• Link to access: https://build.reachcm.com/sso/?mnsu
• Login: Use your StarID credentials.

Key Areas to Work In

• Playlists: This is where you add your content (similar to Bulletins in Carousel).
• Media Library: You can add images/files directly here before bringing them to your playlist. You can also add content through the playlist with a few extra steps.

Playlists Available

• Main (right larger space): 1094x740 px
• News (left): 700x740 px

Adding Content

There are two ways to add content to your playlist:

1. Using the "Add Content" Option:
   • Check the box next to the playlist and select "add content."
   • You can either add items already in the media library or go to "Add assets" to upload new items.
   • Note: You can add PDFs, and they will be converted for you! You also have the option to add videos from YouTube and Kaltura. Please ensure your monitor volume is off to avoid disruptive noise.
2. Using the "Edit Playlist" Option:
   • Click on "edit playlist" to add and edit content.
   • From this view, you can also see active items and make any changes.

Additional Features

• Setting Start and End Dates: You can set start and end dates for your content, similar to Carousel.

• Full-Screen Option: If you want your content to fill the whole monitor screen without the background/layout, use the "Full Screen" option for high-impact content.

Customizing the Display

• If you would like to customize the display itself (add widgets, add or remove content blocks, etc.), please submit a ticket to IT Solutions with your request.
