How do I run diagnostics on my Dell computer? 

Overview

1. For Dell computers, open the link: https://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/sln114988/dell-diagnostic-tools-to-diagnose-and-fix-hardware-problems-on-your-dell-pc--tablet-or-servers?lang=en
2. Turn on the machine and press the F12 key when the Dell icon appears
3. Once the boot menu appears, use the arrow keys to select the diagnostics option, and press enter
4. Let the diagnostics run until it's complete
5. If one or more errors are reported, use the error/validation code to look up the corresponding issue on the Dell support website
6. Use your Service Tag Number on the computer, additional troubleshooting options, warranty information, driver updates, etc
