Get the Client http://my.mnsu.edu/imagenow/help.html Getting Help, use your Star ID to log in and find the client install link).

 Login as local Administrator to computer.

Grant "Write" access to the following two directories to all users on the computer.

C:\Program Files (x86)\ImageNow

C:\ProgramData\ImageNow

Turn Off UAC if applicable (Win7 / Win10)

Disable UAC on Windows 7

Type UAC into the start menu or Control Panel search box.

 

Drag the slider up or down, depending on how often you want to be alerted.

Drag the slider all the way down to the bottom to “Never Notify”.

 

Disable UAC on Windows 8, 8.1, or 10

Open the Start screen.

Search for UAC, you should see an option for User Account Control settings.

Windows 10, you need to search the Start Menu.

 

Drag the slider all the way to the bottom, the same as for the other versions of Windows.

 

Copy Client.exe to desktop

Install using the “Run as Administrator”

On the EULA click accept, and scroll down to the bottom of the page to make the “next” button available

 On the “Custom Setup” window verify the items you wish to install are selected “This feature, and all sub-features, will be installed on local hard disk.”

Enter the following when prompted:

Profile name: Perceptive Content

Server name: dimm.campus.mnsu.edu (IP should only be used if DNS on your campus does not resolve name 134.29.35.14 (DNS should then be fixed))

Port number: 6000

 

On the PEDS screen (Deployment) leave blank.

Continue with install

 

 

You should see the below login screen upon opening the Perceptive Content desktop icon.
