OneDrive - Open a Shared Document

How do I open a OneDrive document that was shared with me?

Overview

Opening a Shared OneDrive Document

1. You will receive an e-mail much like the one below when a OneDrive document has been shared with you
2. Click on the Open button in the body of the e-mail
    
3. You will be brought to a login page shown below.  Type your StarID into the username field and click Next so you can enter your password and then click on Next again

Students, Alumni and Emeriti: StarID@go.minnstate.edu

Faculty and Staff: StarID@minnstate.edu

4. Once logged in it should bring you to the document that was shared with you.
5. If it doesn't, you will be brought to the OneDrive homepage. From there click the Shared on the left side
6. You will then see all the documents that have been shared with you. To view and edit the document click on the Shared Document
