Overview
This article provides a few quick steps for faculty, staff, and students to make sure Zoom meetings are secure and private, such as logging in with university credentials, using a generic meeting ID, only allowing authenticated users to join meetings, and setting up meeting passcodes.

Ensure security and privacy on Zoom meetings.
Instructions
Step 1 - Always log in using your secure University account with your StarID credentials.
Step 2 - Consider using a generically created meeting ID, not your personal meeting ID. This can be done in the schedule meetings option.
Step 3 - Allow only authenticated users to join your meeting.
Step 4 - Set up meeting passcodes for your meetings.
Outcome
The Zoom meeting will have the security and privacy options listed above enabled.
