Outlook Cached Mode On and Off


I am unable to receive or view any emails in Outlook. In the bottom right hand corner it says not connected to MNSU. I am using Windows 10 with Outlook, what can I do?


You will need to turn your cached mode off, then back on. To do so, please use the following instructions:

  1. Once in Outlook, click the File tab
  2. Click Account Settings
  3. Select the first option, Account Settings
  4. Click Change... located directly above where it shows you your email address
  5. Uncheck the box next to Use Cached Exchange Mode
  6. Click Next. You will now be required to restart your Outlook
  7. Close Outlook and then open Outlook
  8. Your emails should now begin populating again. Follow steps 1-7, checking the box next to Use Cached Exchange Mode
