Hiding Incoming Calls While in a Zoom Meeting

Overview

When Zoom Phone calls come in during a meeting, a pop-up notification appears and may cover part of the meeting window. This can be distracting or interfere with screen sharing and presentations.

How-To

If you want to hide incoming calls when you are in a Zoom Meeting to avoid distractions, you can do so by going to: 

  1. Click on your Picture on the top right in the Zoom App 
  2. Select Settings
  3. Check the box next to Hide incoming calls while in a Zoom meeting 
Note: If you are in a Zoom meeting using the desktop client, your provisioned desk phones will still ring. If you are in a Zoom meeting using the mobile app and the setting is turned off, you will still get notifications for incoming Zoom Phone calls.
