Academic Forgiveness is a one-time opportunity for undergraduate students at Minnesota State Mankato to reset their GPA by excluding certain low grades from past coursework. To qualify, students must either return after a 3-year break or change majors, and then successfully complete at least 12 credits with a GPA of 2.0 or higher and a grade of “C” or better in each course. This policy applies only to Mankato coursework and does not impact financial aid eligibility calculations.
