Signing into Zoom on iPhone or Android Using University Account

Question

How do I sign into the Zoom app on iPhone using my University Zoom account? 

Overview

  1. Download the ZOOM app from the Apple App Store or Download the ZOOM app from the Google Play Store

Note: This tutorial was made using an iPhone but the steps are nearly identical for Android devices.

  1.  Open the Zoom app

  1.  Select Sign in

  1.  Select SSO

  1.  Enter minnstate into the field, then select go

  1.  Your web browser will open onto signon.minnstate.edu. Enter your StarID and Password, then select Sign On

NOTE: After 7 attempts, zoom locks your account for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, the user should be able to try again

  1.  Your web browser will prompt you to Open this page in Zoom. Select Open

  1.   Your Zoom app should now open and be signed into your University Zoom account
