Can text messaging be disabled on my Zoom Phone for my university phone number?
Overview
Upon request by the employee, SMS Text Messaging can be disabled for a Zoom Phone university number.
*Please note that Minnesota State University Mankato is currently in the process of transitioning all employees from the Cisco phone system to the Zoom phone service. This article applies only to those who have been moved to the Zoom phone service. Learn more about this project on the Zoom webpage.
SMS Texting needs to be disabled by the Telecommunications administrator. Simply contact the IT Solutions Center and submit a request to have SMS Texting disabled for this phone number.
