First Time Setup - Off Campus
You can install the Eduraom certificate from off campus. This will allow your computer to find and connect to Eduroam the next time you are on campus.
1. Open a web browser and navigate to wifi.mnsu.edu
2. Follow Steps 4-11 of the On Campus Directions.
First Time Setup - On Campus
eduroam is the preferred secure Wi-Fi network for all students, faculty and staff to use with their personally owned devices. Enroll your device to enjoy Wi-Fi access throughout this campus as well as other eduroam-participating institutions. To connect to eduroam, you must have an active StarID account, a data or internet connection.
- Open your Wi-Fi settings and click Connect next to MavGUEST
- Click Open browser and connect
- Click Set Up eduroam to begin the eduroam onboarding process

- Click Join Now

- Download the setup file when prompted
- Go to your downloaded folder and run the installer WiFi_Minnesota_State_University_Mankato_Wrapper.exe
- Click Next to proceed with the setup

- A browser window will open. Sign in with your StarID and password
- Click Next to continue.
- Once you see the message Joined press Done to close the program
- Your Windows computer should now be connected to the eduroam Wi-Fi network if eduroam is available where your Windows computer is located.
