Technology Asset Management oversees the full life cycle of University‑owned technology assets such as computers, tablets, and phones. This service ensures secure handling of technology assets, accurate inventory records, and compliance with Minnesota State requirements from purchase through retirement.

Application support includes the creation of new custom software applications, and ongoing support for existing custom applications, that facilitate administrative processes and student success. Examples include financial aid award notifications, Curriculum Design System (CDS), and the Academic Catalog.

Zoom is a web-based video conferencing app that allows users to meet online with up to 300 participants in a meeting or 500 in a webinar from any device including Windows and Mac computers, and Android and iOS devices.

Kaltura MediaSpace is the statewide media management system. Upload, edit, manage, and share videos with MediaSpace. Plus, it's fully integrated with a screen capture tool (Kaltura Capture), and faculty can directly embed MediaSpace content into D2L Brightspace.

The network in the residence communities (dorms) is managed by service partner Boldyn Networks.

Zoom Phone is the University's phone system for employees with unlimited domestic calls, text messaging, voicemail transcription, call recording, and seamless app integrations. Access Zoom Phone on your laptop or smart device in the Zoom app, or choose to have a traditional desk phone in addition.

Allow third-party applications that have been purchased for local installation on Minnesota State University, Mankato servers or hosted remotely as "software as a service" (SaaS) to access data from university or Minnesota State systems.
