Overview
This article provides instructions for employees to enable Do Not Disturb on Zoom Phone. Enabling Do Not Disturb (DND) will automatically send all incoming calls to voicemail. You can set DND for multiple time frames — 20 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours, 24 hours, or a custom duration — directly through the Zoom app.
How-To
Zoom App
- Click on your profile on the top right of the zoom app
- Scroll down to where it says Do not disturb
- Select the time frame you wish to have DND enabled
Note: Enabling DND from the Zoom app will override the Yealink desk phone settings. Having DND enabled from zoom will also enable it on the desk phone itself, even though it will not indicate it on the physical phone.
Yealink Desk Phone
- There is a pre-programmed button on the desk phone labeled DND
- Pressing it will enable DO NOT DISTURB and will show the red circle icon with a hyphen going through
- Pressing the button again will disable DND
Note: Enabling DND from the Yealink phone will only enable it on the physical phone itself, it will not disable it in the Zoom app.

When Do Not Disturb (DND) is enabled on a faculty or staff Zoom Phone-licensed account, all incoming calls are automatically routed to voicemail for the selected duration. This ensures uninterrupted meetings or focused work time while still allowing callers to leave a message that can be reviewed later.
