Change Your Name On Zoom

How can I change my name on Zoom? 

Overview

You can rename yourself on the Zoom clients and your account profile in Zoom to keep your name up to date across the platform.

Change your name on the Zoom Web Portal

1. Sign into the Zoom web portal
2. In the navigation menu, click Profile
3. By your account profile name, click Edit
4. For your account profile name, enter your First Name and Last Name
5. For your Display Name, enter a name (e.g. your first name, full name, or nickname) that will be shown to others on Zoom
6. Click Save

Change your name on the Zoom Clients

1. Sign into the Zoom Desktop Client

• Zoom: Sign In on Windows with University Account
• Zoom: Sign In on Mac with University Account
• Zoom: Sign In on iPhone or Android Using University Account
• Zoom: Sign In on Chromebook Using University Account

2. Click your profile picture, then click Settings
3. Click Profile

NOTE: You can also click My Profile, which will open a new web browser window where you can edit your name in the Zoom web portal.

4. Click Edit My Profile

     A new web browser window will appear, directing you to the Zoom web portal.
